He took up body building and was ranked in various Mr Britain and Mr Universe contests in the 1950s. He then became a stuntman, working frequently on the Bond movies since Dr No (1962), as well as Raiders Of The Lost Ark (1981), Gandhi (1982), Batman (1989). He was particularly fond of India since he made his first film there, Tarzan Goes to India (1962), and even worked on Bollywood movies including Sholay (1975). Now a school teacher. (No IMDB.) At the 2008 London Film and Comic Con, she stated near the end of the second series Gerry Anderson offered her a full time part in the show for the third series- but Space 1999 was cancelled soon after.
