Product Enterprise Limited/ Iconic Replicas (UK)
|
One of a range of Gerry Anderson vehicles (including UFO Interceptor and Supercar). There are several variations: Transporter, Rescue, Freighter, Lab plus limited edition VIP, chrome and gold-plated versions. In 2006, an edition of the Lab pod is released with a small moonbuggy, Infernal Machine laser tank and Metamorph top-boosters. A 23 inch "prop replica" Eagle was released Dec 2005. It is based on a recast of the Replicas Unlimited 23 inch Eagle, complete with inaccuracies. From March 2007, the company is re-named Iconic Replicas, although the original name remains on website and packaging. A "prop replica" commlock and stun gun was released Dec 2007, and a 23inch "prop replica" Lab Eagle in February 2008. There have been several reports of poor quality with misaligned or bent components; in at least one example IR promptly sent a good replacement. According to their website they are now manufacturing replacements; according to Comet these will be available in July 2008. Because of the problems, all future releases will be delayed.
