The full sized Moonbuggy (seen here; see also pictures of the full size prop) was represented by models in various scales. The smallest was 6cm long; the two others used most often were 12cm and 20cm long. For the second series a 46cm long remote control moonbuggy was constructed, but was barely used. All the models were made with astronaut figures which could be detached. |

This model is 20cm x 13cm x 8cm, and is featured in the opening scenes of Breakaway, in The Infernal Machine, and in The Last Enemy. The front section is quite foreshortened, but otherwise it is a fair representation. It contains an electric motor to drive the rear pair of wheels. |

This is the 46cm remote controlled moon buggy, only used in The Taybor and The Exiles. Unlike the smaller moonbuggies, this is quite accurate compared to the full sized Amphicat; the details of the spacesuits are also very accurate but unfortunately the figures are very stiff and unnatural, as is evident on screen. |

The small moonbuggy again, with various 44" and 22" Eagle pods and accessories. |
