The following letter was sent to Abe Mandell of ITC in New York by Wernher von Braun, president of the National Space Institute in September 1975, as Space 1999 premiered.
Among the notables of the National Space Institute board of directors are Dr Isaac Asimov, Arthur C Clarke and Bob Hope.
The recommendation was noted on the Power records story albums.
