Loveclassics 18 Mar 2003 20:36:15	I read an email this morning from another Space 1999 forum and they said they are remaking Gerry Anderson "Captain Scarlet". Any thoughts or is this too off topic
DX-SFX 18 Mar 2003 23:40:17	It's just been officially announced as a new CGI version of Scarlet. Gerry made a short test film some three years ago and showed it at various conventions to get feedback. It was lifted quite a bit by using the original voice artists but it's just another CGI animated series and not likely to set the world alight. The puppet shows were always fascinating to watch but personally I find this CGI cartoon stuff boring.

I never saw Captain Scarlet myself, I don't think NZ TV bought it. I was just interested since it was another Gerry Anderson SCI-FI.
