I've actually seen that before. Not the first time they've done that either. In those days, you had to be multi talented. Now all you got are pretty boys and perfect body chicks. They both had charisma and talents. Makes you wonder why Freddy didn't include that talent in Year 2. Speaking of no talent pretty boys, has anybody here on the forum seen Superman Returns? I finally got to see this and am disappointed. Just when it starts to get good, it gets boring. And boring. Clark/Superman barely speak, too. And this guy is TOO pretty. At least Reeve had some acting abilities. This guy has none. Except stand around and ask Aquaman out for a date. I am not convinced he loves Lois. He's too gay. And why are the main stars SOOO young looking? What's-his-name who plays Lex is ok. he has some fun parts. But this movie is easily forgettable and easily the most disappointing. |

I loved it. I loved Martin Landau's tears at the end, and Barbara Bain's expression as she looks at him. (I am a sucker for a sensative guy). Here is another youtube clip I found that really showcases some of their talent range: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zmz4lA6utq8 |

I showed both clips to my mom, since she was a fan of Andy Williams. She's also 72 and thinks the internet is a scary place, and wishes the rest of us would stay off. In her defense, I have a cyberstalker I met in sci-fi fandom. I won't bore you with all the drama-queen details, but it's been hard on my mom and scary to her to have a stranger stalking us, but clips like this show her the gentle potential of the web. She told me that Martin Landau and Barbara Bain did a lot of singing together, and I hope more of those gems get found and posted here. I'd like to see them. |

I had never even HEARD of Martin and Barbara until I saw Space:1999. Never saw MI until last year when I got the S1 dvd set for Christmas. So, of course, I never knew they sang and did these entertainment shows! This is quite a revelation to me. It's very cute, actually. Awww. |

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WsTkvl0rpec found this one while looking for something else. It's a little strange, but it brought tears to my eyes because that poem was recited at my best friend's funeral 6 years ago and I have been really missing him lately. So, it meant something to me to see this. |

Are there any excerpts from The Harlem Globetrotters on Gilligan's Island? If memory stands correct, didn't both Bain and Landau have Russian-like accents?? |

I saw that movie dozens of times when I was a kid. I don't remember it now at all. I'd love to see it again. |
