yes, that's a great image. have you watched all the video yet? it's so easy to feel as if one is flying an Eagle around the Moon heading for Alpha! on the JAXA site you can find more pics and the links to the HD videos in the boxed area near the top of the page, click on either the "Earth-rise" Images or the "Earth-set" Images to see the movies JAXA SELENE Webpage or click on the pics lower down the page (like the one below) to get the giant sized HD still image  |

I just watched the videos and they are stunning. But they also demonstrated just how good the effects were on Space 1999. The 'barrel moon' scenes look just as good as these real clips! |

Well, the science was still flawed but they did have the benefit of NASA photos from the Apollo program. | ||

Because it doesn't involve a murder in Detroit. (The only times I watch Fox news...those glimpses I catch after American Dad before I race to turn off the TV, that's all they talk about). |
