I learned something at today's dinner. Grandma can become quite strong and fast when you corner her to get her to take her medications.... and never trust a cat around a cooked turkey. |

"Turkey's" as a derogatory expression? Dated slang. You guys are showing your age....(must have been a kid in the 70s) I always did wonder about that 'burning Grandma's wig' line....wonder what kind of boy Koenig was. But then, I grew up with engineers, and they all blow stuff up in the basements it seems... |

Koenig of course is at the head of the table....Helena is at his side, of course (so they can bump elbows and stare at each other everytime they both reach for something). Tony is passing beer to everybody at any opportunity.... Allen is shoveling food into his face making 'happy noises'. Maya is looking around with both curiosity and caution, then picking up her utensils and starting to eat slowly...asking some question about the history of dosmesticated fowl... Sandra and Paul might be sitting next to each other bumping knees under the table..... |
