Thanks to everyone for a great 2007- in particular, I'd like to thank Marcus Lindroos for tons of material this year. Also thanks to Shaqui, Wes Carr, Thomas (I've still got lots of material from Tom for Year 2 to do), Gordon Moriguchi, Chris Dale, Roberto Baldassari (I've seen the animation for the 2008 Italian DVDs- awesome!), Chris Moore, Peter Tyler, Pierfilippo Siena, Phil Cook and everyone else who contributed. Also a special note of thanks to Cricket for spam reports on the forum- it really helps us keep down the noise level. In 2008 we've got Network Year 2, new Italian DVDs, possibly some HD DVD, a bunch of replica models from Product Enterprise, hopefully Powys books should return... It should be a very good year. Have a great 2008! |

And thanks to you Martin and to everyone else here at this S:99 forum all the best in 2008! And regarding news for 2008 I can say that people will likely be pleasantly surprised with some newly remastered work from the remaster guru Eric Bernard. If all goes well some of the new stuff should make its appearance at the Calgary Convention this summer! |

Well I can say that both Breakaway and Missing Link have had some interesting editing work, in the case of ML to try and strengthen the drama and pace of the story and some really, really cool new effects for the 1st Space episode. All this along with the creation of various "Previously On" and "Next" trailers for many episodes, Also, using the trailers to full effect, there is a very strong effort to create a workable chronology for Y1 that ties in various storylines and info the hopefully helps explain, by way of implication and presentation, how certain phenomena specifically assisted with the moon's path as it travels through space. Lastly, there is a proposed reboot for the series to make it more relevant to current viewers that people may find a bit different even radical at first but will hopefully see the positive aspects of it all. While this may all sound a bit or a even a lot vague I have faith that fans in the S:99 world will be pleasantly surprised and charged up by what they see when it is ready and officially presented. |
