Martin 15 May 2003 18:59:29	The British magazine TV Zone has the first part of "top 100 TV programmes" feature this month (issue #163, May 2003). This part covers 100- 40. It's culled from their subscriber preferences. Note it's not just science fiction, although it's mostly cult-type series. From their readership, I'd guess Star Trek/Dr Who/Buffy/ Stargate will dominate the top. Space 1999 comes in at 41. There's a small photo, nothing else. OK, most of us would rate it higher, but that's not bad for a 30-year old series which receives almost zero coverage in their magazine. Martin 17 May 2003 15:30:30	UFO is at 19, which is amazing. Thunderbirds is 44. It is very much a science fiction geek list, even though a few non-sf series creep in (Simpsons at 17, ER at 35). The top 10 are next issue, and I suspect Star Trek Next Generation will be top (the original series is 12, Enterprise is 18).
