Fanderson have just published Earthbound by E C Tubb, an adaption of Earthbound (never previously adapted), The Exiles (based on the original Year 1 draft of the script) and Face Of Eden (a year 1 draft script which is very different from the episode Immunity Syndrome which it eventually mutated into). Oh!!! Yes!! Yes!!! Yes!!!! (Jump up and down..on good knee anyway) At last, a Y1 novel!!! Hey, is there anyway to join Fanderson, uh, painlessly? I mean, they don't provide conversion chart for pounds to dollars and worse yet, they want you to send for the hard copy of the registration form if you are in the United States....wait...wait...wait...Only then can I order the book... Any quicker way to do this?!? My credit card is half way out of my wallet, Fanderson folks...heh..  |

Wasn't Earthfall a Year One novel? I can't remember, I could never get through the whole thing. If you use a credit card it's not too hard. Print the membership application on the Fanderson website, use a credit card with a low limit and send it off. http://www.fanderson.org.uk/fandform.html The FAB magazine is excellent and you can convert currency on Yahoo which will give you a ballpark figure on the charge. http://finance.yahoo.com/m3?u |

Yeah...it was. But I think it was out of print til recently. They are doing a special too. Get Earthbound AND Earthfall for 20 pounds. I stand corrected..At last a second (well, sort of) original Y1 novel. Very cool... |

I wasn't planning on ordering again from Fanderson but I guess I'll have to before the end of the summer. I want to see how Tubb aproaches 1999 again 25 years later.
