A bit of info from the news... from Monday 2nd Feb, Carlton will be no more. It is merging with another British TV company (Granada). The new company name is ITV plc. London Evening Standard news report The existing subsiduaries, including Carlton International (who manage Space 1999 and other properties in the ITC library), will probably continue to trade under their own name for a while. Later in 2004, the new ITV will be launching a new UK channel to show their huge library of old programmes (it's been dubbed "ITV Gold"). It is not yet known whether it will be pay-to-view. Oh, and btw, anyone else got their Products Enterprise Eagle yet? I was very impressed. Martin |
