huh.gif Why don't the "Spacers" come back to this forum.

We are lucky because we can speack freely then........ you won't???

You know I love that serie and I was so proud to chat with other 1999 lovers.
In the beginnig, you enjoyed to introduce yourself then you went away when i needed you so. sad.gif
Alpha is OUR base so what? D'You refuse to land on it?

dry.gif Oh, I see : you prefer to watch nude women pictures with Tony and Alan in the Spectre Seance! You'd rather watch nakes but you'd better speak space.

You are fier and nasty, angry against me because I'm a little French who's lost in space (ah! ah! ah!).

Please, tell me you're alive!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Probably both!

For the english speaking I've been reading a little of the French boards by using Bablefish

http://au.altavista.com/babelfish

but I've got to enter the text to be translated, I get error messages trying to translate the whole page at once. sad.gif

The forum, as far as I can tell, has only been promoted on Martins Website in the whats new section and on the Space 1999.net links page.

I don't think real annoucements have been made on the bigger lists out there. Unless you don't want that announcement to be made? wink.gif

As for returning posters, sometimes people get busy, sometimes people just want to check the tone of the list or board and see where it's going. I think I lurked for about a month or so before writing because I wasn't completely sure I wanted to. I'm still not 100% sure but I have been enjoying several threads here and that's what keeps me coming back to read and post.

Since I don't own or moderate these boards I didn't think it was my place to promote it. But if the owners/moderators want me to I'd be happy to post info on these boards on the lists I own.

I'm a little obsessive compulsive about things and I've been focused on an old hobby for the last few weeks that doesn't involve being on line. I've checked the board a few times etc. Looks like a have a good bit of catching up to do. Sometimes I get a little flustrated because I can't type and explain/express exactly what I want to say fast enough. Other than that this and LS1tech.com & thirdgen.org are the only forums I'm active on.

Validus, thanks for the kind words... biggrin.gif

Any new insights about this topic anyone?

A. Real life prevails now..
B. A couple of uninteresting and sophmoric discussions going on...
C. A couple of political comments in these discussions have put me off....Opinions of current politics don't belong in here. This area should be an "escape" and I don't doubt there are many discussion boards on the net featuring these topics. Please, take it somewhere else...

I'd gladly join in on discussions...IF THERE WERE SOME...this board has been sitting idle for quite a while...I'm not used to that...I go in the dallas forum everyday...and there's ALWAYS something new to post about...or a discussion...or debate to read or post on...in order to keep THIS SHIP afloat...we all must continue to put in our two cents...even if for some it seems sophmoric...for others it may not...so come on folks...get those thoughts a brewin...watch an ep and make some comments...DO SOMETHING!

Well why not start the ball rolling by starting a thread? At least if you make the effort to say something, others might too... dry.gif

sadly enough the absence of some of us is a colateral damage due to an excess of bitter discussion about religion. The more sadly when one appreciate the vaporous religious/spiritual/mystical fog that is surrounding Space.

Will this new year be an occasion for the protagonists of violent discussions past to turn their pillow and enjoy dis-cushion ?

I must have missed this... blink.gif Was it a recent debacle?

A pity some people, regardless of 'religion' (which I see as human 'values' superiposed over levels of mysticism or belief) seems to rally people to fight, rather than an acceptance of people's individual 'faiths' - which I see as more intimate, and relevant to the 'message' of Year 1... if anything.
