Hello! As you may imagin, my favourite series are SPACE:1999! You see, those are fascinating series about"how and why we survive" mainly the first season. But I like the two seasons. Unfourtunaly, I neversaw other Gerry Anderson serie or movie... |

Gerry Anderson made many series: - UFO , the first that went "where no serie went before". Aliens are attacking Earth and commander Straker has to fight them. - S1999, well you know it... - Thunderbirds , I don't know very much about this, but I know it was built with the stop motion. - Lavender Castle , animation serie, such like Voyager in Star Trek. There's a spaceship in search for Lavender Castle, peaceful, and aware of building a new world. GA took a film from S1999 and UFO, but in fact thy were only pieces of episodes put together. Thank you for informing me!!!! I will try to see other series like, for instance: UFO. I seams very good!!!! |

And you'll do well, huh? UFO is my favourite GA serie... but it hasn't the morale I'd like it to have... There are enemies, fights, murders, ... death. I like series where the principal component is LIFE!!!!! For this I like Star Trek, too... (even if it's not a GA serie... off topic...). Bye, Dada Baggins |

Now that you talk about it, I am also a fan of Star Trek The next generation because i never saw the original series... But (by the informations I searched for UFO series) I know I whould enjoy it. |

I saw something about the Classical Series of Star Trek... it's fun. Some episodes also have some moral. For example, you can see the Platoic vision of our "soul" represented in Capt. Kirk, Mr. Spock and Dr. McCoy. "Plato triplicem finxit animum, cuius principatus, id est rationem, in capite posuit." This is followed by Aristhoteles, too. Bye, Dada Baggins |

But Space:1999 (season 1 mainly) has a great deal of moral too... I think In my opinion is one of the things that separets Space:1999 from the other series: the philosofie I hope that the other Gerry Anderson series had that kind of stuff |

Well, in UFO there is some. But, WHO, you are right: philosophy has a geat power in S1999. (well, maybe not in Full Circle... Bye, Dada Baggins |

Space:1999 is obviously my favorite. But at the moment, I cannot think of a favorite episode. Dragons Domain is up there, but now, I'm starting to pick it apart. It has some really rotten dialogue. Earthbound is one of my faves, even with its' pedestrian pace...

The first episodes I saw were in a film... They were Colision Course and Black Sun. They are stil my favourits I dont know wy, but those two have someting difrent, I dont know... They are very philosofical |

Yes, they absolutely are. I haven't got any favourite episode, but I like very much "Another Time Another Place". Do you? Bye, Dada Baggins |

But there is a episode that I find a litle diferent from the others... "Another Time, Another Place" We got a image of them leaving the Eagle (we never saw it before and we will only see that again in "The Testament of Arkadia")... When they are going to Earth we listen a very nice music (a variation on the main theme) that will not apear again... Thats interesting.... |

Never thought of it! Yes, that's really interesting! And that's a really interesting topic for a discussion: "The Testament of Arkadia"! Would you have done as Luke and Anna? Bye, Dada Baggins |

Hell no. Be alone on a planet? I can be a social leper at times, but it's best to be among people. Plus, Alpha's too cool not to want to stay there...

Hi Huntsman Hi WHO. Hullo. Despite the disadvantages, I would prefer lo live on a PLANET, and not on a travelling rock, without any food replicator, and without any warp tech!!!! Bye, Dada Baggins |

| WHO 10 May 2005 15:46:12 |
What tipe of planet to you?... |
||
| Dada Baggins 11 May 2005 21:40:59 |
Ehm... Maybe the Earth, before the birth of Humans! Bye, Dada Baggins PS: Sorry ( |

Maybe you're right. The bars on Alpha all seem to carry Tony's beer. Yecch! Can't imagine what his ale would be like. I only answered the moon, due to everything already being there. Maybe in Luke & Anna's position I would think differently. Starting a planet over from scratch, though, might take more than 2 people. Maybe that's where Victor, Paul and Kano went, and maybe Tonya... |
