OTHER NOTES

• "Alpha Cinema" was one designation used for Pacifica Ballroom C&D, throughout Breakaway.
• "Recreation Room" was used for Playa Vista on the first day
  (which I simply used in the rest of the schedule as reproduced above).
• Just for fun, I also renamed (just for this chart) two other locations in a more Alphan vein as well:
  • "Command Center" is named for the set that dominated Pacifica Ballroom A&B
    (and for the fact that it was the primary event location);
  • "Landing Pad" sounds more fun than Entry Foyer (Registration).
• The "Collectibles" room was the Manhattan Beach room.
• The Dealer's room was Marina room.
• A couple events took place in the Redondo Beach room.
• "Landing Pad" and the "Solarium" (others' nickname for
  the hotel's outdoor Terrace adjacent to the Entry Foyer)
  also tended to be a favorite place to flop in chairs and talk
  to others, including, at frequent times, the guests of honor.
• The dealer's room was not open on Monday simply because most dealers have other jobs,
  and it is not typical for a science fiction convention to run through a Monday!
