What is this list all about?
The Gaybase Alpha mailing list is a group of gay Space:1999 fans chatting about their
favorite TV series in a comfortable setting—one where they don't have to be worried
to admit that they like Alan more than Maya! The list is not a strictly Space:1999
list—any topic may be discussed—but all members must be fans of the
series—it's the glue that holds us together.
Is this list filled with
"adult" pictures or subject matter?
No. While we require all members to be at least 21 years of age to join GBA, this list is
not a sex or porn list. If you are looking for nude Alan Carter photos, you won't find
them here. Sorry.
We do occasionally have erotic messages posted to the list, but they are all done in good
taste and never go "over the line". The list is for adults, but not an adult
list!
Can I find out who is on GBA before
I join?
No. The membership list is available only to members as is the archives of past messages.
All information on GBA is confidential and for members only.
Are there any fees or dues to join?
No. This is a completely free mailing list. Our mailing list service appends a small unobtrusive
ad to the
bottom of each message, which keeps it free for us!
