“Hey, here’s a great idea! Let’s make Maya super-smart, so she’s like a walking computer!” Thus Maya became a walking computer in this episode, where it turns out she can perform mathematical calculations faster than computer can. (Kano would have hated her.) Maya’s computing skills were also hinted at in “Brian the Brain.”

The story is similar to “War Games” in that Koenig, Maya and Alan are negotiating to save their people from destruction, in this case, by aliens who don’t even realize they’re doing it. A situation arises where Maya needs to use her powers to become chlorine-breathing, which lets her use her powers to save the day (again). Koenig makes a speech and they all go home, helped along by the aliens who decide to be good guys after all. Cutesy ending with a chuckle at the end. Producer Fred Freiberger.

Damn you, Fred Freiberger.
