A Psychon brain stem grafted onto a Dorcon brain gives the recipient immortality. The High Archon will stop at nothing to get Maya’s, while his scheming nephew Malik has plans of his own. By this time, Space: 1999 had pretty much hit the bottom. The production values in this episode, with its cheap backdrop sets and poor acting. Still, it tries to be a good episode, with some cool attack scenes and lots of injured Alphans flooding Command Center, demanding that Koenig turn Maya over to the Dorcons. And Tony decks the guy for it, which is just so romantic. Still, I didn’t like this episode, especially Malik. He’s like something out of bad Shakespeare. This whole episode is like bad Shakespeare, or worse, bad Star Trek. |
