Participation in conventions abroad
The Cosmos 1999 Club organized many conventions between 1991 and 1998 where many actors and makers of the series honoured us with their presence :
Barry Morse (Bergman) in 1991,
Prentis Hancock (Paul) and Suzanne Roquette (Tanya) in 1993,
Prentis Hancock again, Zienia Merton (Sandra), Johnny Byrne (a writer) and Anton Phillips (Dr Mathias) in 1995,
Zienia Merton and Anton Phillips again as well as Bob Kellett (a director) et Keith Wilson (a designer) in 1998.

Apart from the conventions, the members of the club used to gather to speak about the series or to promote Space : 1999 in "multi-series" conventions such as THE FIRST CONVENTION OF TV SERIES FAN-CLUBS at the Palace in Paris on December 13th, 14th and 15th 1996.
Some members could also organise super week-ends such as the one on May 14th and 15th 1999 at Catherine Schell's (Maya). She runs a Bed and Breakfast in France.
Conventions are also organized abroad such as the Breakaway Convention which took place during the September 13th, 1999 week-end in Los Angeles, or the Main Mission: 2000 Convention in New York, or SpaceCon: 2001 in Tampa.
