SERIES 1 SECTION AND CORRIDOR GRAPHICS

Section identification graphics appear at the top left corner on all four sides of Moonbase Alpha's comm posts. Comm post units are installed throughout the moon base, and provide access to Alpha's computer, scanner, and communications systems.

Corridor identification graphics are generally applied to corridor walls. In Series 1, a white identifier letter on a black circle is used somewhat more frequently than colored circles. In the case of the two "Living Quarters" graphics, the "LQ 12"-style graphic was seen only in Victor Bergman's apartment (in at least two separate episodes).  All other apartments simply displayed the more familiar "LQ" graphic, sans any identifying numbering. (While the "LQ 12" graphic is actually for a specific location within the moon base, it is included here for comparison purposes only with the more generic "LQ" graphic.)  In the case of Commander Koenig's apartment, the Command graphic was used-the only location besides the Commander's office adjoining Main Mission where this graphic appears.

Note that the generic Living Quarters, corridor, and corridor junction graphics above should be considered typical and/or representative. Corridor and corridor junction signage numbering would change depending on one's location within the moon base. The representative corridor graphics included here indicate corridor 23 and corridor junction 49 South.

The Countdown typeface is used for all section and corridor graphics in Series 1. All of the original graphics are approximately 12 inches in diameter, regardless of their placement.
