The basic moon buggy used throughout both seasons of Space: 1999. On some episodes a different style of mirror was used, on others it was removed entirely. The number 5 was a later addition, and yes that's a tiny 8 in the corner of the panel, just like the original full-sized version. Here 5 refers to the number of the moon buggy itself, while 8 refers to the section it's assigned to. In addition to the numbering graphics, the moon buggy sports the Interspace Research Commission crest on its front and rear panels. |
