MAIN MISSION BIG SCREEN COMMAND CENTER BIG SCREEN
The standard Main Mission "big screen" display seen throughout Series 1. The central screen image remains static until the screen is activated, but the individually tiled display indicators surrounding it flash seemingly randomly and intermittently. The standard Command Center "big screen" display seen throughout Series 2. Other than the addition of the "Command Center" text, the screen remains essentially the same, though it is mounted in Command Center much lower than was its counterpart in Series 1's more expansive Main Mission.

BASE STANDBY SCREEN BASE STANDBY SCREEN
The standard Moonbase Alpha default screen for Series 1. Generally displayed on comm posts and wall mounted monitors, it also appears on screens within the Eagles on occasion. The standard Moonbase Alpha default screen for Series 2. It shows up in the same locations as the Series 1 version, but the text displayed is dependent on one's location within the base. On the Eagles this text would display the Eagle's number (such as "Eagle 4"). It also shows up on a commlock in The Immunity Syndrome, with the text spelled incorrectly as "comlock."

CENTRAL COMPUTER SCREEN
Though we only catch a quick glimpse of it, the screen above is displayed in the Central Computer room in Black Sun when Victor Bergman discusses the need to deactivate Computer to conserve power with a reluctant David Kano.

LIVING QUARTERS SCREEN RED ALERT
First appearing in Series 1 as a viewscreen in Commander Koenig's office, this style of screen resurfaced in Series 2 in Medical Center (in The Mark of Archanon), as well as on a couple of occasions in Commander Koenig's Series 2 living quarters set. The version in the Commander's office sported a similar default screen to that of the "big screen" in Main Mission, minus the text you see here in it's Series 2 Commander's living quarters incarnation. The standard Red Alert graphic seen throughout Series 1 and 2 on comm posts and panel screens during base emergencies. The text flashes evenly while accompanied by a klaxon sound effect. The light effect was achieved by placing a similarly framed blackout light unit over the actual monochrome screens. In a few shots it's actually possible to see the edges of the blackout frame that formed the shapes of the individual letters (which were illuminated from behind). In addition to the more common Red Alert graphic, a similar Yellow Alert graphic (illuminated in yellow) was seen on only a couple of occasions as well. While Red Alert indicates an extreme emergency in progress, Yellow Alert indicates that Alphans should enter a prepared state of readiness for possible or impending emergency.
