The
Poster:
My
name is Roberto Baldassari, I'm a graphic designer from Italy
and I'm the author of the Transporter Eagle Cutaway Poster.
The
Eagle, designed by visual effects maestro Brian
Johnson in 1974, is the reconnaissance spacecraft in use on
Moonbase Alpha in the British cult science fiction tv series Space:
1999.
The
poster shows the "cutaway" Eagle on Alpha's launch pad three with
the boarding tube connected.
There are a few cutaways in the flight terminal too, showing interior
details such as the departure lounge, the boarding tube corridor
and the outer airlock.
The
Ultimate Eagle Poster is 36 x 24 inches, printed in full color
hi-res (Agfa's CristalRaster
process printing technology for ultra high quality) on heavy gloss
poster paper (Ikonosilk 200 gr.).
The
Ultimate Eagle Poster is based on my "Ultimate Eagle Blueprints"
produced in 1996 which are also available for sale. Click on the
"Blueprints" button on the left to find more about my
Eagle Blueprints set.
Special
thanks to Chris Trice, Keith Young, Robert Ruiz, Shane Johnson,
Geoffrey Mandel and Jason English for their help.
