The Taybor- Continuation

By Dorothy Burton

John moved from his chair in Command Center and joined Helena at the door. She smiled up at him as they moved into the hall. "Your place or mine?" He asked with a grin. "Yours' is closer." She said taking his hand. He grinned a little wider as she led him down the hall. He opened the door to his quarters and she led him inside. He quickly locked the door behind them and pulled her into his arms for a lasting kiss. They parted breathless and she looked up into his fiery blue eyes. She pulled the zipper of his jacket down across his stomach and his hands went to her shoulders. "In a hurry?" He asked. She looked up at him to kiss him. "I seem to remember that we got distracted earlier." She said she met his lips. He parted from her and shrugged the jacket from his shoulders. "I'm not going to get distracted this time." "I hope not." She said taking his hand, leading him to his bed. They undressed quickly and John slid under the sheet of the bed as Helena carefully place her uniform over a nearby chair. He smiled as he watched her approach him. He held the sheet back for her and she joined him. The lay facing each other. "Did you even tell Tony, you were leaving?" John laughed lightly. "I don't think so." He shrugged. "He'll handle it." Helena raised her eyebrows, "I just don't like ill-timed commlock calls." John smiled, knowing they had been caught in the middle of things, on more than one occasion. "Oh, well, it'll make it a little more exciting won't it." "Well," She said seductively, "It's usually pretty exciting, I just don't like the interruption." John watched her eyes and caressed her cheek. "You want me to call Tony?" He reached over to the table beside his bed and picked up the instrument and activated it. "Tony." He said. "Yes, John." Tony answered. "I'm taking some time, everything under control?" "Sure John, take the afternoon. I'm sure your doctor would approve." He said with a grin. John nodded. "Thanks Tony. See you in the morning." He switched the device off and replaced it. "We really don't fool anyone, do we?" She laughed. "I don't think we ever have." He agreed. "I guess I could give you a medical excuse." She said playfully. "And just what would that be?" He said intrigued. She moved close to him and kissed him. "That your doctor insisted on making love to you." John smiled as she kissed him deeply. "I think I like that excuse, Doctor." He said pulling her to him. Helena laughed as he moved on top of her. "But it's my turn first." He said looking into her eyes. He loved her slowly, knowing there would be no interruptions.   Dorothy Burton
