The Moon is blasted out of Earth orbit by a mysterious nuclear explosion.
As the Moon careens rapidly through space, the 310 people of Moonbase Alpha
encounter strange aliens and unusual forces, forcing the marooned culture to
reevaluate its own philosophies about the universe they are unexpectedly
exploring, even as they fight to survive against the powers they meet and
their own constant shortage of vital resources.
