Bedside table lamp realized in ABS and characterized by a compact form and a directional light emission. Its inclination of 15°, makes the light emission easier on the eyes.  This lamp is also perfect for a work space, although it was initially destined for children writing desk.
Type of bulb : Incandescent 40W E14
There are a few slightly different versions of the Sorella lamp.  I came across 3 different versions among the 11 vintage Sorella lamps I got through the years. The version used in Space: 1999 is the type shown in picture no 6, 11, 12 and 14(the one on the right).  It has a slightly more angled inclinaison and the inside of the base is not enclosed by a lid around the light bulb allowing the light of the bulb to show through the openings at the bottom of the base (pic no 11).  Too bad the re-edition by Nemo Cassina is not that type that is, to me, the most attractive.  Unfortunately, they seem to be producing the less attractive type with the ugly black ring around the bulb. (pic no 7)  There is also the other version the 2nd most attractive one that seems to have been only available in America. (pic no 8)
